How a move with us actually goes

Two phases. Getting to a number you trust, and then the ten days where most moving companies go quiet.

Before you book

Getting to a number

Five steps, and the price appears at step four — before we ask who you are.

  1. 01

    Route and date

Pick where from, where to and when. We show the road distance and the transit window we hold for that corridor.

  2. 02

    Your home

Home size, floor, lift, and how close a vehicle can park. Each of these changes the price, so we ask rather than surprise you.

  3. 03

    Your inventory

Pre-filled from your home size — you edit it rather than build it. This list becomes the record your goods are checked against on the day.

  4. 04

    Your price

An itemised range on screen, with the assumptions and the exact list of things that could change it. Still no phone number.

  5. 05

    Lock it

A video or on-site survey confirms the volume, the figure is locked for seven days, and you pay 15% to hold the date.

After you book

The ten milestones

Every one of these appears on a page you can share with family. If something slips, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

  1. 01

    Booking confirmed

Your date is held and your move manager is assigned.

  2. 02

    Survey completed

Volume confirmed and your price locked.

  3. 03

    Crew assigned

You will see who is coming, with photos, the evening before.

  4. 04

    Packing started

Condition photographs are taken before anything is wrapped.

  5. 05

    Loaded

Every item checked against your inventory and signed off.

  6. 06

    In transit

On the road. We will tell you if the window changes.

  7. 07

    Reached your city

The vehicle has arrived and delivery is being scheduled.

  8. 08

    Unloading

Room-mapped unloading at your new address.

  9. 09

    Delivered

Item-by-item verification against the same inventory.

  10. 10

    Move closed

Final invoice issued. Claims stay open for 7 days.

On the day

What the crew actually does

Arrives with an OTP

You will already have their names and photographs from the evening before. They ask you for a code only you have. Do not share it until they are at your door.

Photographs before packing

Condition of your goods recorded against the inventory, before anything is wrapped. This is what a claim gets decided against.

Checks off every item

Loaded against the same list, verified at the other end against the same list, and the final invoice matches the original breakdown line for line.
