How our pricing works
This is our rate list, published in full — the price list, the method behind it, and the arithmetic you can check. Rate card version 2026.08-a, effective from 2026-08-01. Every number quoted anywhere on this site comes from it.
The method
Six components, in this order
Your quote is these six lines plus tax. Nothing else exists.
- 01
Transport
Vehicle class and distance. On an intercity move the per-kilometre rate falls in slabs as distance grows, because loading labour and trip costs are fixed and long-haul kilometres are cheaper to drive.
- 02
Packing material and packing
Priced per cubic foot at the tier you choose. Volume comes from your inventory, not from the number of bedrooms.
- 03
Loading and unloading
Crew hours at both ends, sized to the volume, with a floor for small moves. A crew for a day costs the same whether the drive is 10 km or 1,000.
- 04
Floor, lift and long carry
₹110 per floor per 100 CFT without a lift, ₹45 with one, capped at ₹4,500 per end. Long carry from the vehicle to the door is banded.
- 05
Special handling
Flat fees for items needing crating or extra crew — large televisions, glass tops, mirrors, safes, pianos, air conditioners.
- 06
Insurance and GST
Transit cover is optional and priced on declared value. GST at 18% is always shown as its own line, never folded in.

Vehicles
Vehicle rate chart and capacity
We size the vehicle from your inventory with 15% headroom, so nothing gets left behind. Rates below are per kilometre by vehicle class, before the distance taper.

Distance
Why the per-kilometre rate falls
| Distance slab | Rate multiplier |
|---|---|
| 0 – 200 km | ×1.00 |
| 200 – 600 km | ×0.64 |
| 600 – 1200 km | ×0.46 |
| Beyond 1200 km | ×0.38 |
A 1,500 km move does not cost five times a 300 km move. Loading and unloading labour is identical regardless of distance, the fixed costs of a trip are spread further, and long-haul kilometres are cheaper to drive.
A mover who simply multiplies a flat per-kilometre rate by the distance is either overcharging on long routes or losing money on short ones. Neither is a business you want handling your possessions in three years’ time.
Shared loads
A shared load is multiplied by 0.74 — roughly 26% cheaper — and takes the slower end of the transit window because the vehicle waits to fill.Published rates

Questions
About our pricing
Because the alternative is asking you to trust a number you cannot check. Publishing the method means our incentive is to price correctly rather than to price whatever we think you will accept. It also means the table on this page and the number in your quote are generated by the same engine and cannot disagree.
The estimate is a range. It becomes binding once a video or on-site survey confirms the volume — at that point we lock the figure and hold it for seven days. Everything on your confirmed inventory is fixed from then on.
Four things, all listed on your quote: items added or removed after the survey; access details different from what you entered; a vehicle of the quoted size not being able to reach your door, needing a smaller shuttle for the first leg; and waiting beyond two hours at either end. Each is priced in advance so it is never a negotiation on the day.
Yes, 8% on labour and packing material — not on transport. Rents turn over at month end, so crews and material cost more. We tell you this in the funnel before you pick a date, not after you have booked one.
Labour and packing material are bought locally, so each city carries a cost index against a national base of 1.00. Transport is priced on distance and vehicle class and does not vary by city. There is no separate city surcharge.
